This course is divided into categories according to the main gemstones in jewelry market, with the purpose of cultivating appreciation ability, and extensively introduces gemological techniques in order to identify gemstones and their imitations or whether treated or not. Familiar use basic testing instruments, with Loupe, microscope, spectroscope, dichroscope, refractometer, polarizer, ultraviolet lamps, colorimetry, inclusions observation etc, , and also learning identification concepts of various scientific spectrum application .


An overview of the geology, aesthetics, history of jewelry, knowledge of the category and features of gemstones, such as: structure and properties of materials, natural and synthetic or imitation, enhancement and treatment, facet and cutting, market information, collecting , fashion and auction markets and other practical and theoretical basics.
